Panels 3 is an amazingly powerful tool for building websites. So much so, in fact, that I wonder if I’ll ever do another website without it.

From creating complex layouts for viewing or editing content, to determining contexts and passing parameters around without any snippets, Panels has something for both beginners and experts alike.

Ok, so maybe the use of “Extreme” in the title of this session was just a cheap way to peak your interest.

In this session I’ll discuss and show some of the jQuery techniques we use at the Penn State’s eLearning Institute to always keep navigation in scope while not detracting from the course content. Oh yeah, and how to make it look cool too!

Update: I can’t express all the coolness in just 20 minutes, so I upped the session to an hour :)
